According to the Council office, the work will be done by Monday, September 23rd, at which time contractors will begin scraping off the current lane striping on Colorado Boulevard. If you live near Colorado, this will be loud work -- and it will happen at night. So be prepared! On Tuesday, September 24th, the Department of Transportation (DOT) will begin working behind the contractor to stripe in the bike lanes and add crosswalk markings. But when a Russian expedition, led by the Danish explorer Vitus Bering, reached Alaska in 1741, it became clear that the Russian empire, expanding eastward over the Eurasian landmass and across the soon-to-be-named Bering Strait, might harbor territorial ambitions toward Spanish California... Formed in Los Angeles in 1968 to accompany rock concerts, it reconfigured its membership and its performance modes several times, eventually freeing itself from its initial role as a supplement to live music events. Drawing on the long local history of intersections between avant-garde film and visual music, it developed many technologies and sources of both imagery and abstract light, and evolved into an autonomous multimedia unit that innovated the collectively improvised, real-time composition of projected light.” Celebrando el 40’ aniversario del disco Dark Side of the Moon de Pink Floyd, experiencia la interpretación de todas las canciones de este disco monumental en el estilo cuarteto.
