Forty five years ago today 07/20/69, Neil Armstrong became first man to walk on moon @kidsgov @nasa

The mission, Apollo 11, was a United States mission, and the first successful one to the moon. Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins were the astronauts aboard the mission, and both Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin got to walk on the moon. From NASA, "The primary objective of Apollo 11 was to complete a national goal set by President John F. Kennedy on May 25, 1961: perform a crewed lunar landing and return to Earth." Bring the whole family as the Independent Shakespeare Company (ISC) returns to offer another exciting summer with their very popular and wonderfully entertaining  "Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival." 

All performances are free, though donations are gratefully accepted. Remember to bring a blanket or low-backed lawn chair. It gets cool when the sun goes down, so bring something warm to wear and please, no dogs.
