We would like to thank all of you for making this year's Halloween Festival a success! We had a fanstatic turnout as many of your kids didn't want to leave when we wrapped up for the afternoon. We had a great variety of costumes this year which made the judging difficult and we appreciated everyone's participation.
Thank you parents for helping your teachers with their booths. What a great variety of food, games and other activities and we were excited to hear that there were a number of booths that needed to "restock" after they sold out their first round! Way to go! Special thanks to our Events Coordinator and all of our amazing parent volunteers for making it happen! Have a Happy Halloween. Be fun and safe!

On Monday, October 24, 2011 the Eagle Rock Elementary PTA will have it's first Box Tops Collection Day. Please bring any box tops coupons to the Parent Center. We will also gladly accept your assistance to help "trim" the coupons on the dotted line which is a strict requirement of the BTFE Program.
Did you know that you can earn cash for Eagle Rock Elementary School by clipping Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating products? Box Tops also offers easy ways to earn even more cash for your school online. Click here for more information. For the fundraiser, when we turn in sales at halfway point, how will you tally the online sales? B.V.
In order to be able to track your online orders, your student needs to be registered at the Great American Online Portal. Just follow the prompts and it is here that you can also setup an address book to start an email campaign to help boost your sales! Once registered, your child will have a unique Online ID and link to "their" sales site to share with their recipients and best of all, it only takes a few minutes to set it up! Good Luck! We successfully kicked-off our Autumn Gift & Magazine Drive. The Drive is from 10/14 until 11/1 but please remember that you can continue to make purchases year round. Please visit the Fundraiser Page on our new PTA Website (www.eaglerock-pta.org) and click the link for Great American Opportunities and follow the prompts. Please be sure to enter our school ID#1858869. Please click here for the Magazine Drive Flyer for more information.
We will be in need of assistance processing and later distributing orders so if you'd like to lend a hand (which we will greatly appreciate) please send an email to [email protected] for more information. We had our 1st PTA General Meeting on 10/05/2011 and it was a smashing success!
Despite the inclement weather we had that day we was pleased with the turnout. New Families, Faculty and PTA Board & Chairpersons were introduced. The Budget for 2011-2012 was reviewed and approved with some changes brought up at the meeting (Click here to download the PowerPoint presented with a summary of the approved Budget). We are especially proud of the direction we are taking regarding our support of the campus-wide Technology Upgrades. The General Body unanimously agreed to allocate the funds originally intended for buses, smaller technology purchases and gift cards and focus them on badly needed upgrades for all classrooms. This is a small sacrifice that will yield a large return on investment for many more years to come. The new, updated Eagle Rock Elementary PTA Website is online and we are LIVE!
