Wednesday, January 28th - PTA General Meeting - 6:30pm in the MPR. There will be childcare, snacks, and lots of great information for our parents. We need strong attendance for our nominating committee. Elections will be the following meeting in March - so start thinking!!

Please join the PTA for a brief Special Meeting to approve our 2014-2015 PTA calendar of events.

Our First General Meeting of the 2014-2015 school year will take place this Wednesday evening at 6:30p in the MPR.  Refreshments and childcare will be provided.

We'll review and vote on the proposed 2014-2015 Budget.  Additionally, door prizes and Legoland discount coupons will also be available.

Meeting Reminder | Thurs, 09/11 at 3:00p Multipurpose Rm (MPR) | Taking a Knee

Please join our Principal, Ms. Stephanie Leach and members of the School Behavior Team to discuss the new policy of “taking a knee” after recess and lunch bells.  

A few parents from our school community will be elected as parent representatives on this committee to regularly participate as active members of the team to work through all the various aspects of implementing the LAUSD Discipline Foundation Policy.

Join us for last #EagleRock Elementary PTA meeting of the school year | Thurs, 5/15 6:30p in MPR

We'd like to invite you to attend the last Eagle Rock Elementary PTA meeting of the 2013-2014 school year on Thursday, May 15 at 6:30pm in the MPR. Meet the new board members for 2014-15! (positions still available: VP for Special Events, VP for Membership, and Auditor)

Find out where your fundraising money was spent this year and brainstorm ideas for how we can best serve our school community next year!

As an extra incentive, PTA members who attend may pick up their Legoland coupon for a free child's admission with a paid adult ticket.  As always, refreshments and childcare will be provided.

RSVP Deadline is May 16 | #CommonCore State Stds & Technology, Math Skills @ Home, Parenting

RSVP dealdine has been extended to 5/16 for the forthcoming May 22nd Evening Parent Workshop. This spring event will offer presentations on a variety of topics including the Common Core State Standards and Technology, Math Skills at Home, Helping Parents remain in Control, as well as other interesting and educational topics.

On Thursday, April 10, at 6:30pm in the MPR, there will be a short but very important meeting (about half an hour if we can start at 6:30 sharp) in order to elect the 2014-2015 PTA Board. If you attend any meeting this year, make it this one. We need to have a quorum (16 members) in order to vote and get the new board in place before Spring Break! 

We are accepting nominations for all positions, but particularly for Vice President for Special Events, Vice President for Membership, Financial Secretary, Auditor, EScrip Chair, Hospitality Chair. Descriptions for these positions can be found on the PTA website.

As an added incentive, there will be drawings for door prizes!

As always, childcare will be provided.
