September 15 - October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month. Fifty-three million people identified themselves as Hispanic or Latino on the 2012 Census, making Hispanics a significant cultural presence in the United States.This month we recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States and celebrate the group's heritage and culture.
